Brad Paisley is proving he means what he says. As promised, over the weekend he shared the Grand Ole Opry stage with former "Rising Star" hopeful Sarah Darling.
People reports that Brad also did exactly what he said he would. In introducing her, he told Sarah, "Welcome home - back to the place you belong, Nashville, Tennessee," to which she replied that "there's no place like home."
They then teamed up on Paisley's hit "Whiskey Lullaby," a duet Brad originally recorded ten years ago with Alison Krauss.
Brad had asked Sarah to join him on the Opry after she was eliminated from the competition on the July 13th episode of the ABC reality show. He also extended his invitation to her via Twitter, adding that he "meant it." In his tweet Brad encouraged Sarah to appear with him and let the Opry audience "welcome you home to Nashville."
