Toby Keith has lost one of his tour buses. Indianapolis' "Indy Star" reports the vehicle caught fire early Monday morning while traveling through Indiana from Chicago to Nashville.
Lebanon Fire Department Chief Jason Lee says the bus driver first saw flames coming from the back of the bus while looking in a side mirror. The bus then lost power, and the driver coasted out of traffic. Toby was not among the passengers, who all got off the vehicle without injury. Lee says band members on board were able to salvage some of their possessions, but puts the initial damage estimate at $250,000.
Toby is currently on his "Hammer Down Tour" His next show is his "Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert," coming up on Saturday. Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Ronnie Dunn, and Carrie Underwood are among the performers for the fundraiser, which will take place at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
