Two people are behind bars after a meth lab bust in Charleston County Tuesday.
I happened around 2:30 p.m. when Charleston County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad and the Metro Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 303 Owens Drive Lot 12 in Lincolnville in reference to a meth lab. Officials say the warrant was a culmination of a weeks long investigation of tips.
As a result of the search warrant Ronald M. Patterson and Michelle A. Thompson were arrested and charged with one count each of Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Unlawful Disposal of Meth Waste.
Patterson and Thompson were transported to the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center and lodged pending a bond hearing scheduled Wednesday at 10 a.m.
