The SC Highway Patrol is investigating two deadly wrecks.

According to the Dorchester County Coroner, Rachel McBryde Kam-Johnson died at the scene of a wreck off I-26 Wednesday evening.

The SC Highway Patrol reports the wreck happened just after 5:00 PM. The 21-year-old woman from Summerville was on the Interstate near exit 182 when she went off the right side of the road, over corrected and hit trees on the other side. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

A second wreck happened on US 15 just after 10:00 PM Wednesday night. The Dorchester County Coroner, Chris Nibet, reports 58-year-old James Vernard Hancock from St. George died of head injury, cervical fracture, and multiple facial fractures. He was approximately 200 yards from his home

  The SCHP reports Hancock was on high 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a ditch drainage pipe. He wasn't wearing a helmet. He died at the scene.

Both wrecks are under investigation.
