Carly Pearce stopped by backstage before her set at the WEZL's final Party in the Park of 2018. She spoke with Ric Rush about her epic CMT Awards Speech.
She won her first CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year for her "Every Little Thing" music video, and she epically thanked the person the song was inspired by: the guy who broke her heart.
Carly told us "It's so funny that one of the darkest times in my life ended up giving me everything that I ever wanted." She went on to say the "biggest dream was to thank him on national television, and by gosh, I got too and it was glorious"
