Going through the drive-thru may get a little easier and a little scarier. According to the Financial Times, a new technology that would allow your license plate to be tracked so that your order is automatically placed is coming to the United States by the end of the year. The technology is already being used in Korea and some would argue that it would speed up fast food lines, allow for menus to be customized, and linking your car to loyalty plans.
Would you want your car to be tracked at fast-food restaurants? Not ME! I already feel like my wife is trying to track my Fast Food Drive Thru Adventures!
That's all I need...an easier way for my wife to track how many #1's with a Large Sweet Tea are tied to my license plate. NOPE! I'll just stick with the old way...getting cash out of the ATM...going to a drive thru in another part of town...throwing away all evidence at a gas station trash can...and bringing home the empty bags that once contained healthy snacks that she packed for me (contends of said bags also tossed in gas station trash can)...but thank you for asking!!!!!
