Gas prices aren't the only thing that's been going up lately - those old Superman comics collecting dust in the attic might be worth a bundle. The value of comic books and collectibles have doubled since the start of the pandemic. A recent auction saw Detective Comics #27 - Batman's first comic book appearance - sell for a record $1.1 million dollars. We've also seen sports cards for athletes like LeBron James, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes sell for record amounts over the last two years.
