Jake Owen has a message for country music fans who are being tricked by scammers. Apparently people are pretending to be artists on social media and reaching out to fans asking for money. The real artists would never do that in the first place so that should be everyone's first clue.
Here's a little of what Jake had to say:
"If they reach out to you in a direct message telling you that they need your money or they need you to help them out because life's so tough on the road, just tell them to [get lost]. I speak on behalf of all of us as artists . . . we'd never do that to you. We'd never send personal messages asking you to send us money and help us."
