Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun? Hardly. This Netherlands burger costs $2,300 dollars and really has the works. Guinness World Records says it's the most expensive burger in the world.
Chef Diego Buik says he's created a burger worth the price. According to the "Mirror," the sandwich includes a patty of Japanese and Black Angus beef, lobster, Dutch Coastal Gin, foie gras, white truffle, Remeker cheese, Japanese fruit tomatoes and caviar. It doesn't stop there. Buik added French lettuce, Iberian ham, a special sauce made with 35 lobsters, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, Madagascan vanilla, saffron and Japanese soy. It comes on a brioche bun made with saffron and covered in gold leaf. Bon appetite.
