Join us at Thornhill Farm in McClellanville for the 3rd annual “Harvest Feast” – a community farm supper for local land conservation.
The event kicks off with music by the Heather Rice Duo and charcuterie by local chef Brannon Florie of The Granary. Brannon has a history with Thornhill Farm, having started his charcuterie program there. For the third year, Brannon will be delighting guests with a five-course supper at the farm.
In 2014 East Cooper Land Trust acquired Thornhill Farm and permanently protected it with a conservation easement. This 94-acre farm will forever remain agricultural. When farms are profitable and farming is valued, it decreases the threat of losing other farms to incompatible development.
