Charleston County School District says it's ready for the possible winter weather on Wednesday.
The district tweeted today saying administrators are closely watching the forecast.
They say they'll give an update for the school schedule Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday would be a teacher work day for the school.
Students are set to go back on Thursday.
Dorchester School District Two posted a similar message on their Facebook page.
Students in Dorchester are set to return to school on Wednesday.
Administrators say they're watching the weather, and any change to Wednesday's schedule will be made Tuesday afternoon.
Students in Colleton County will return to school tomorrow.
So far, there's no word on the district's plan for the possible winter weather.
Berkeley County, however, should manage to avoid the possible winter weather altogether.
Students there are scheduled to return Tuesday, January 9th.
