Charleston International Airport could remain closed until Monday

CHARLESTON, SC (WSCC) - The Charleston International Airport could be closed until Monday, January 8.

Joint Base Charleston has filed a FAA NOTAM which is dated to January 8th. The Airport hopes they can resume travel earlier than Monday if the Air Force is able to determine the runways safe for planes and passangers.

The Airport has been closed since Wednesday when inclement weather hit the Lowcountry.
