Joint Base Charleston Reopens One Runway for Flight Operations

Charleston, S.C. (WCIV) — After being shut down for three days, Joint Base Charleston reopened one runway Saturday.

Safety inspections were done Saturday morning, and it was decided that one runway could open for flight operations.

Joint Base Charleston reopened with limited operations Friday and will fully reopen today for regular services.

They were able to contract three plows Friday and clear most of the snow off some of the runways and taxiways.

ABC 4 will continue to monitor this, and update you with more information as it becomes available.
