Blake Shelton: Gwen Stefani's Kids Took Well to the Country

Blake Shelton is introducing girlfriend Gwen Stefani’s three sons to the country.

The Voice coach tells CMT’s Cody Alan a Christmas gift for Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3, turned into an opportunity to teach the California boys a little bit about Oklahoma.

“I bought those ATVs as her boys started coming out more often to the ranch… I’ve got just a John Deere gator literally to use as a tool for work. They’re more fascinated by that thing,” Blake said recently during an interview at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa concerts in Mexico. “So it’s like, ‘OK, I can’t get anything done when the kids are here ‘cause they want to drive this thing around.’ So I got them their own little… I thought they were going to be slower than they are. They go faster than what I got.”

The “I’ll Name the Dogs” singer also spent the holidays teaching Kingston how to drive a different kind of four wheels in the mud.

“I was teaching Kingston how to drive and he took off driving like a maniac into the middle of the frozen pond,” Blake joked in the clip posted by Gwen on Snapchat.

Blake adds during Cody's interview that the boys “took to [country-living] well.”
