The waters are getting warmer, so that means more sharks are being spotted. Charters all around the Palmetto State are reporting shark sightings, even some of the rares kinds.
Earlier this week, WSAV reported that one charter in the Hilton Head Island area, caught a 3000-pound, THATS 1.5 TONS, 16-foot great white shark.
16ft great white shark tagged and released yesterday. We connected to a 9-10 footer at 3pm but spit the hook. Less than 10 mins later we hooked into this beauty. I’ve seen multiple whites in a day, but never 2 within mins apart. Unforgettable afternoon. @MA_Sharks @MandyMatney pic.twitter.com/UhrIrC1XGr— Outcast Charters (@ChipHHI) February 20, 2018
