Tyler Rich Performs, Talks How Radio Changed His Life

Tyler Rich stopped by to perform in the WEZL's Dixie Vodka Performance Lounge. He played his new single "The Difference" and talked about his road to Nashville from California.

After graduating from college, he moved from Sacramento to LA to start playing music. Early in his career he recorded a song called Radio. It started getting some plays on YouTube and he thought it would be great to go play a show in his hometown. When he went home to play a show in a local bar, a program director for his hometown iHeartRadio station heard his song and started playing it. The next time he played his hometown, Rich sold out the same bar two nights in a row.

Fast forward, he was flown to Nashville where he met Dustin Lynch, who was a big fan. Lynch told Tyler he needed to move to Nashville now.

After a tour with Dustin Lynch and writing for years he's finally ready for us to hear what he's been working on.
