What if it rains? Will the Party in the Park still go on?

  • Yes, in the event of heavy or steady rain, we have an optional site and would move Party in the Park to the USS Yorktown at Patriot's Point and host a "Concert on the Carrier." Should weather effect our event, that information would be announced on-air, on our website and through all of our social media platforms.

Will the Party in the Park be appropriate for my son/daughter under 18 years of age?

  • Absolutely! Party in the Park is a family-friendly event. We have activities for children, and the Memorial Waterfront Park has a complete playground area for the kids. The live music you hear reflects what we play every day on the WEZL.

Where can I get tickets to the show?

  • Our Party in the Park is FREE and open to the public. No tickets required. However, in the event that weather changes our event to a "Concert on the Carrier," tickets will be necessary as the USS Yorktown can only accommodate a limited number of people. Information about getting these tickets would be made available at that time.
