Charleston Scottish Games

The Charleston Scottish Games and Highland Gathering began in 1971, and is the second-longest running event in the Lowcountry. The 48th Annual event will be held at Boone Hall Plantation. The games bring in over 8,000 guests from around the country, and they can experience Scottish food, culture, traditions, and history in an interactive way.

Visitors should expect bagpipes and drum rolls during the Opening Ceremonies, traditional Scottish games such as, Weight Throws, Sheaf Toss, Caber Toss, and more, traditional Scottish food + beer, and live Upbeat Celtic music.
