Florida Georgia Line Looks Ahead And Strategizes For New Year

Planning and preparing for the future is key for a duo like Florida Georgia Line. As the year comes to a close, the duo’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are taking a moment to look ahead and get ready for 2020.

“We talk about what the goal is, how many shows we want to do. Obviously, we just want to continue to write songs every year and try to continue to better ourselves in each area of our life,” Hubbard shared with his label. “That’s kind of broad obviously, but I’d say we strategize pretty hard – everything from single choices to album rollout plan to tour and production and who we’re going to bring out.”

Florida Georgia Line has already revealed some of their plans for 2020, which includes preparing to release their fifth studio album and hitting the road for the massive "Chillaxification Tour" with Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion.

The forthcoming record will follow up 2019's Can't Say I Ain't Country, released in February of 2019. "Simple" was the first single released from the album, followed by "Talk It Out Of You" and their latest, "Blessings."

In the new year, Florida Georgia Line also plans to continue to promote their current single. The "Blessings" music video was just released earlier this month and features clips of Kelley and Hubbard with members of their family.

The video, directed by Justin Clough, was shot in Florida and Nashville, with a few scenes from Arizona's Lost Dutchman State Park. Kelley and his wife Brittany soak up the sun in Florida with Kelley's parents while Hubbard and his wife Hayley spend precious moments with their children Olivia and Luca.
