Thomas Rhett says his wife Lauren Akins is having a discomforting experience with her pregnancy.

The “What’s Your Country Song” superstar, who last month announced he and his wife are expecting their fourth baby girl together, recently revealed that Lauren’s pregnancy symptoms have been “rough,” and that this has been “one of the worst” experiences she’s had so far.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the country musician told the outlet that Lauren’s days have been nothing but “nausea and yakking.”

"I'm sure there's a lot of moms out there that feel that way,” he explained. “But when Lauren gets pregnant, the whole getting sick first trimester and then you're done just has never really applied to her."

"It's just really sad because I feel like I can't do anything to help, except order Taco Bell at 11:30 at night to put something in her stomach," the 31-year-old added of his wife, who praises her as being “such a trooper.”

"You can just kind of see it a little bit on her face,” said the “Die a Happy Man” singer. “But we're going to get through it and we'll have a beautiful fourth daughter out of it.”

Rhett, who shares three daughters — Lennon Love, 14 months, Ada James, 3½, and Willa Gray, 5 — with his wife, recently recounted the “wild” way he learned about their baby news during a recent vacation.
