Aquarium Aglow
A new tradition is coming to the South Carolina Aquarium this 2021 holiday season. Aquarium Aglow, a one-of-a-kind holiday experience in downtown Charleston, will welcome guests of all ages to see the Aquarium in a whole new light.
This immersive holiday light spectacular brings forth the joy and magic of the season with tens of thousands of lights displayed throughout multiple installations, from elegant and innovative to festive and nostalgic. Enjoy an elevated evening Aquarium experience with friends and loved ones, complete with nightly live entertainment and a variety of food and refreshments available for purchase.
Aquarium Aglow will take place on select evenings beginning November 18th, 2021 through January 2nd, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Aquarium Aglow will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Tickets are on sale now and, though they may be purchased on the day of your visit, the Aquarium encourages purchasing in advance online to guarantee availability on preferred dates.
General guest advanced ticket prices are: Adult (13+) $24.95 and Child (3-12) $19.95
General guest day-of ticket prices are: Adult (13+) $29.95 and Child (3-12) $24.95
Member advanced ticket prices are: Adult (13+) $19.95 and Child (3-12) $15.95
Member day-of ticket prices are: Adult (13+) $24.95 and Child (3-12) $19.95
Toddlers (0-2) will receive free admission to Aquarium Aglow.
South Carolina Aquarium members also have the opportunity to experience Aquarium Aglow before it opens to the general public. A Member Preview Night will be held Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm. This event is limited to 500 tickets and will include complimentary food and drink. Tickets for this special members-only evening must be purchased in advance.
