Carrie Underwood shared a look backstage as she prepared to deliver her 70th REFLECTION performance at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada. The eight-time Grammy winner shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse on a few slides on her Instagram story, and noted that a rare wardrobe piece emerged again for the latest show in her residency.

“Welcome to backstage at REFLECTION. This is show No. 70.
I’m wearing an outfit I’ve only worn, like, once,” she said with a laugh. “Because I gotta feel pretty darn good about myself to wear it. But I figured I needed to wear it one more time, you know?”

Underwood took the stage in a stunning bedazzled asymmetrical jumpsuit, which she paired with long fringe cape cascading from her shoulders. She walked to the stage in flip flops and changed into rhinestone boots once she got to the stage (where she practiced walking up and down a small set of stairs to get used to her heels). Underwood pointed out when she made her way to the stage that she’d walked up the same set of stairs that she has to run down for her epic “Something in the Water” finale. The American Idol champ and current judge previously shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how she pulls off the transition from her fiery “Before He Cheats” performance to an unforgettable waterfall to sing the powerful 2014 ballad from her Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album.

Underwood became the first and longest-running resident headliner of Resorts World Theater when REFLECTION made its debut at the venue in 2021. She previously said she’s “absolutely loved performing in Las Vegas” over the years, and REFLECTION “is truly one of my favorite shows to perform.” The final dates are set for Friday (April 11) and Saturday (April 12).
