Wynonna Judd and her sister, actress and activist Ashley Judd, will share untold stories about their family in an upcoming two-night documentary event.

Lifetime shared the trailer for The Judd Family: Truth Be Told on Thursday (April 10). Wynonna, 60, Ashley, 56, and others (including fellow country star Reba McEntire) share stories about their lives and careers, including Wynonna’s music journey in the legendary mother-daughter duo The Judds with late mother Naomi Judd. Naomi died on April 30, 2022, one day before The Judds were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. She was 76. The Judd Family: Truth Be Told includes archival photos and interview and performance footage recorded over the years that includes Naomi.

The two-part documentary “reveals the complex story of the Judds’ including their triumphs and tragedies across several decades. From Naomi’s beginnings in Kentucky as a young teen mom, then known as Dianna, struggling to survive with her young daughters, the doc illustrates how the famous country music mother-daughter duo of Naomi and Wynonna Judd came to be and where Ashley stood at the height of Naomi and Wynonna’s fame. Untold truths emerge, illustrating what tied them together, and what also drove them apart,” the description reads.

The Judd Family: Truth Be Told will premiere on Lifetime at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 10. Watch the trailer here:
