Top Places To Eat In Nashville For Different Types Of Food

If you're visiting Nashville anytime soon, you'll be overwhelmed with several options for food, drinks, and experiences. One of the best parts about Nashville is that there is so many options for food, but it's hard to figure out which one you may like. In an attempt to help our Bobby Bones Show friends traveling to Nashville and looking for places to eat, Morgan2 the Food World girl on the show listed some options for different varieties of food to give a try while in Nashville.

Her reviews are based on her friends visiting Nashville and what they liked, as well as the places she frequents when heading out to eat.

Italian Food: Amerigo

One of the must get items on the menu are their Cheese Fritters. They're fried cheese balls with a delicious mix of marina and honey mustard.

Mexican Food: Rose Pepper

Not only do they have Nashville's best margaritas, but their buffalo white cheese dip with flour chips is a favorite queso in the city too.

Tapas & Wine: Barcelona Wine Bar

Their menu changes weekly, but one menu item that's a staple and a potato favorite is their Patatas Bravas.

Burgers & Beer: M.L. Rose

While the burgers are one of the specialties, you can't sleep on their loaded waffle fries (make them sweet potato waffle fries). Especially with the homemade ranch.

Dog Friendly Patio: Von Elrod's

There are many dog friendly patios in Nashville, but a personal favorite is Von Elrod's for the atmosphere, great food, and great beer on taps.

Restaurant On Broadway: Merchants

There are many levels to Merchants on Broadway, but the main level giving off a fun dinner/club vibe has some great options for food. A personal favorite is the baked pimento cheese and mac n' cheese.

Rooftop Bar & Restaurant On Broadway: FGL House/Jason Aldean's

Not only are these two restaurants named after country stars, they have some great views of Broadway, fresh specialty cocktails, and food that doesn't taste like you're at a bar. If you go to FGL House, get the Margherita pizza with avocado. If you go to Jason Aldean's, get the southern nachos.

Live Music With Food: Tin Roof On Demonbreun

If you're looking to catch live music, it's everywhere in Nashville. A personal favorite is Tin Roof on Demonbreun. They have plenty of TVs to watch sports, almost always live music playing, and some above average bar food. The loaded tots are a great food item for day drinking.

Brunch With Bottomless Mimosas: Sinema

If you're ready for bottomless mimosas or bloody marys and want a full fledged buffet of food to recover, this is the place to be. Not only is it an old movie theater made into a restaurant, but they have 2 levels of different food + a build your own waffle bar!

Brunch With Focus On Food: Sky Blue Cafe

Maybe you're here for the food instead of the drinks and that's ok. Sky Blue Cafe is the perfect hole-in-the-wall brunch spot. Every item on their menu is tasy, but a personal favorite is the stuffed french toast pancakes pb & j style.

More About Atmosphere Than Other Things: Yee-Haw Brewing Company

If you want to play some yard games, watch a big game on a massive outdoor TV, and just chill outside with some friends, this is your spot. They have great drink options from the brewing company to the moonshine spot and also some tacos available if you're feeling hungry.

Dinner For Special Occasion: House Of Cards

This spot is all about the magic, literally. They give you a ticket to a magic show after dinner. You have to dress up in very nice clothing or you won't be allowed in.

Alcohol & Chocolate: Tempered Café & Chocolate

At this special spot you can get wine or whiskey flights and chocolate that goes with them. It's the perfect sweet spot.

Ice Cream: Jeni's

This spot is undoubtedly the most popular for ice cream with all kinds of fun flavors to try. I suggest the salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks.

Fun Milkshakes: Legendary Milkshake Bar

If you want to try a massive, fun milkshake topped with all kinds of things, this is your spot. Perfect for families.

Fun Breakfast: Monell's

If you're looking to eat a yummy breakfast, look at Monell's. It's family style dining so you will sit and eat with other people, but you never know who you may meet!
