Looking for something fun to get you in the holiday spirit? Luckily, Charleston welcomes tons of awesome live shows, musicals and concerts of all sizes and genres. And this holiday season there are a handful of family-fun shows happening around town!

The Charleston Christmas Special

This fantastic and hilarious performance is a holiday themed musical, produced by Brad and Jennifer Moranz, is a family-favorite Holiday activity running December 13 - 23 at the Charleston Music Hall! This two-hour show is a great way to get into the holiday spirit just days before Christmas!

🎟SENIORS (age 62 or older): $37 (+ $1 for admission tax)

🎟MILITARY DISCOUNT: $37 (+ $1 for admission tax)

Purchase a Dinner & Show Ticket for a night out on the town. Dinner is hosted at your choice of either Vincent Chicco’s and Virginia’s on King! Both restaurants are located right next to the Charleston Music Hall on Hutson Alley. Please allow 1 hour and 15 mins for dinner prior to the show. Tax and gratuity are not included in the ticket price. Tax and 18% gratuity will be added to the restaurant bill. The purchase of a Dinner & Show ticket does not include a reservation. Elf the Musical

Based on the beloved and hilarious 2003 Will Ferrell film, Elf The Musical tells the story of Buddy who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. Raised as an elf and unaware that he is actually a human, Buddy realizes he is different when he grows up to tower over the other elves and finds that he is a disastrous toymaker. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his true identity.

We Three Thieves

Attend We Three Thieves at The Black Fedora Comedy and Mystery Theater to enjoy holiday laughter this season! This show of three holiday thieves is one that will have everyone in the room laughing. These three thieves face many challenges as they try to steal gifts, and joy, from Christmas.Volunteer audience members make this show possible, by playing cops, robbers, politicians, holiday party goers, and numerous other roles.

Holiday laughter with friends, family, co-workers. Rated: PG with mild innuendo
We three thieves disoriented are! Who among us hasn’t had our best-laid holiday plans go awry? We travel moor and mountain to make merry, but then the cookies burn, the cat knocks over the tree and some chump steals the jewel we stole first. What’s a hardworking criminal got to do to give his family a decent Christmas in this town – get a job?!
Volunteer audience members join a hoity-toity holiday party, playing cops & robbers, sheiks & mobsters, crème de la crème & crooked politicians, twisted tree-huggers & lots of others. Runs Thanksgiving through New Year's.
