The Kindness Crews-aide had an excellent time at the 7th Annual Summerville Sweet Tea Festival on Thursday evening. Ric Rush and the crew were collecting donations and any non-perishable hurricane relief items for Operation Airdrop, a non-profit organization that organizes volunteer aircraft owners and pilots to deliver disaster relief supplies.
Anyone who brought donations or supplies for those impacted by hurricane Florence was given an official 2018 Summerville Sweet Tea Festival Mug to go and taste all the different sweet tea options!
Friday morning all the supplies that have been collected were taken to the Mount Pleasant Regional Airport and dropped off to the Operation Airdrop crew. Thanks to everyone who donated supplies!
