Maren Morris postponed her tour in May due to the coronavirus outbreak. However, the country singer made the difficult decision on Friday, December 18th to cancel the North American Tour all ogether. Morris tweeted, "There is so much hope with this vaccine being distributed in 2021, but we are still unsure of when we will be able to do the tour next year.. With the prospect of, yet again, rescheduling half of the dates already becoming a reality, I have decided to cancel the RSVP tour," she continued, adding that ticket holders will receive a full refund.
While fans won't be able to see Morris perform live any time soon, the country star does confirm that new music is on the way.
"I truly appreciate your patience on this," she added. "I am in the midst of working on my third record, so I hope we can all come together and enjoy live shows safely again soon. Love you so much."
Besides music, Morris has also been keeping busy at home with her husband Ryan Hurd and their new baby boy Hayes Andrew.
The country singer opened up to People saying, "Ryan and I are both pretty laid back. We kind of lucked out having a very chill baby,.. "We’re pretty chill people, so maybe that’s reflected in our kid. We’re learning every day."
