If you've been skipping your vitamins every morning, you may want to reconsider. Dr. Darren Mareiniss recently told the website Eat This, Not That about all of the health benefits of Vitamin C. Mareiniss said that Vitamin C can help heal the body, has antioxidant benefits to prevent cell damage, and can prevent conditions such as scurvy and iron deficiency. While Vitamin C could potentially cause stomach pain or kidney stones, the positives outweigh the negatives. It has also been linked to better vision, heart health, and even preventing cancer.
