A lot of controversial ingredients have been banned in the U.S.-just, not these. According to Eat This!, Not That!, six food ingredients that have been deemed dangerous are still being used. This includes Azodicarbonamide, which is a chemical compound found in yoga mats, as well as some bread and cereals. Also on the list: Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO), Olestra, Synthetic hormones (rBGH), and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). Do you think any of these ingredients are harming Americans? Are you surprised that they have not been banned?
