McDonald's Giving Away FREE "Thank You Meals" to Frontline Workers

UK In Fourth Week Of Coronavirus Lockdown As Death Toll Exceeds 10,000

Yesterday, McDonald's announced that they will be giving away FREE "Thank You Meals" from today, April 22, until May 5. These "Thank You Meals" will be offered to to healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics who are on the frontlines of COVID-19. Available at no charge via drive-thru or carry-out at participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide, these meals are available during breakfast, lunch or dinner. Frontline workers will have a choice of sandwiches, drinks, a side of their choice: world famous fries or a hash brown, along with a note of appreciation.

Options in the Thank You Meals include:

Breakfast

  • A choice of an Egg McMuffin®, Chicken McGriddles® or a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and a Hash Brown.

Lunch and Dinner

  • A choice of a Double Cheeseburger, 6-Piece Chicken McNuggets® or a Filet-O-Fish® will be offered. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries.
