Luke Combs delivered an electrifying performance for a sold out crowd at “The Big Kickoff Concert,” an event hosted at his recently-opened bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
Combs took the stage at Category 10 — named with inspiration from the singer-songwriter’s 2016 breakout single, “Hurricane” — on Tuesday (April 15), kicking off grand opening celebrations throughout the week, per a press release issued Wednesday morning (April 16). The set included the powerhouse artist’s career-spanning hits, including “When It Rains It Pours,” “She Got the Best of Me,” and “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma,” to name a few, plus a sneak peek of his unreleased music. However, the country star did not announce any additional details, including a release date, as of publication time.
Category 10 opened in November. Combs teamed up with Opry Entertainment Group to open the four-story, 67,000-square-foot venue, which includes The Honky-Tonk, Hurricane Hall, The Still and The 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar. The venue also includes The Eye, a rooftop bar that offers live music, indoor and outdoor spaces, food and drinks, and views of the river. The Eye was the final part of the bar to open earlier this year.
Combs is one of the latest artists to open a venue in downtown Nashville, along with Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley and more. Combs said when he opened Category 10 that this is “a dream come true, and I am excited to share it with y'all. This a fan first venue with a little something for everybody.” Get a sneak peek of Combs’ new music here:
